A house near Munlochy, on the Black Isle, designed for Mr. Sinclair Burnett, a retired landscape gardener, and his wife, also a keen gardener.  The site has a lovely woodland setting with plenty of space to accommodate the house, garage, and gardens.  The house was designed to take advantage of the views to the South with access from the main living spaces directly onto a timber decked terrace.  A corner solid fuel fireplace in the living room backs onto a wood burning stove in the hall/ dining area, giving a cosy feel.  Only the ground floor of the dwelling was developed initially but he design had to incorporate attic trusses, velux windows and space for a future stair to facilitate the later development of the first floor.
