Residential - private houses - new build
Projects by Sector
Client: Mr Michael Pearson
Description: New build
A stone built traditional, 1 3/4 storey house constructed on the site of the original 'Grace's Barn'.  Orientated to take advantage of the spectacular views across Loch Torridon to Diabeg, the house was constructed using local stone and natural slate, and designed to reflect the style and proportions of the Scottish venacular.

The entrance porch was an essential feature to form a buffer against the winter storms with the open plan ground floor living accommodation and open fire creating a cosy refuge.  In the summer the three sets of french doors open out from the living space onto an external terrace.  A large sea kyak store is an additional feature to the rear of the property.
