White +McGinn offer a full professional service, from Feasibility through to Final Account. The scope of work could include the following:
Feasibility Study: site appraisal, formation of brief, cost implications, the need for Planning Permission and Building Warrent.
Outline Proposals: Preparation of outline proposals, preliminary cost estimate, application for Outline Planning Permission (if required).
Detailed proposals: Development of the scheme design, provision of information to other Consultants, Consultation with the Planning Authority, Building Control, and other Statutory Authorities and submission of the full Planning Application.
Final Proposals: Development of detailed design and liason with other Design Consultants, provision of information as required for revised cost estimate, application for Building Warrent.
Production Information and Tender Documentation: Preperation of Production drawings and detailed specification, provision of information for the preparation of Bills of Quantities, Co-ordination of all production information.
Obtain Tenders: Report on Tenders along with other Consultants.
Contract Management: Provision of further Production information, meetings with the Contractor and inspections- all as required for the construction of the works. Cost control and issue of Interim and Final payment certificates.
(Some Clients, particularly for small or domestic projects, will require only part of this work to be undertaken on their behalf).
