Our clients, CrossReach (Church of Scotland), wanted to upgraded the facilities of this existing residential home for the elderly.  Internal alterations were carried out to transform 26 rooms, only 8 of which had en-suite facilities, into 24 rooms all of which with en-suite facilities.  The mechanical and electrical services were also upgraded and a new escape stair added.  The works were managed in phases so that the building could remain occupied throughout, requiring considerable flexibility from staff, residents and the Contractor.
